Maternity Night Nanny Services
As a Maternity Night Nanny I typically come to your home between 20:30 and 06:30 to care for your baby / babies so that you can rest as much as possible overnight, although these hours can be adjusted if required.
A Maternity Night Nanny is ideal for babies from birth to around 6/7 months old. I can start at any age with your baby and you can have my help for just a week, for a couple of months or anything in between.
Maternity Night Nanny Price Guide:
Single Baby: £20.00 per hour (Plus travel if applicable*)
Twins: £24.00 per hour (Plus travel if applicable*)
Triplets: £27.00 per hour (Plus travel if applicable*)
Additional Services Price Guide:
Wedding/Event Cover: £25.00-£30.00 per hour (Depending on number of babies, Plus travel if applicable*)
Daytime Hours: As per applicable Night Rate above (Plus travel if applicable*)
Bank holidays and festive dates are charged at double time.
*Approximately 45p per mile for distances over 10 miles from my home / or an increased hourly rate. Please provide your postcode upon enquiring.
What you can expect from me during my time with you:
- Preparing your baby/s feeds and feeding your baby throughout the night so you can have a full nights sleep.
- If you are breastfeeding; bringing your baby to you, then taking your baby back to the nursery for winding, changing and resettling, allowing you to get straight back to sleep.
- Caring for and monitoring your baby throughout the night, from nappy changes through to reflux management.
- Gradually guiding your baby into an effective feeding and sleeping routine, teaching your baby to self-settle and avoid negative sleep habits and associations.
- Advice on how to create a safe and calm sleeping environment and adhering to all published guidance on SIDs, formula feeding and expressed breastmilk storage/feeding.
- Washing and sterilizing all baby bottles / dummies / breast pumps etc ready for your day ahead.
- Maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Keeping your nursery tidy and organized, emptying your nappy bin and ensuring stocks of nappies, wipes, cotton wool etc are replenished.
- Washing and tumble drying babies clothes if required.
- Washing and dressing your baby in the morning if required.
- Answering any questions or queries you may have.
- Providing you with a nightly record of feeding and sleep patterns.
- Help and advice on different routines / approaches and how to achieve an age appropriate routine so your baby can sleep through the night when they are ready.
I take bookings from pregnancy with an estimated due date through to emergency placements to start immediately. I am happy to help with any combination of nights up to 5 nights per week (depending on availability). Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Terms:
- Contract will be provided before commencement
- Non-Refundable deposit is payable before commencement (deducted off of final invoice provided all monies owing are up to date)
- Weekly fees are to be paid in advance of nights worked
- My service is for a non-waking night shift so a rest space is required (Please contact me for prices if you require waking shifts)
