I’m Charlotte (Charlie) and I live with my partner, daughter and son in Fareham, Hampshire.

I was born in 1985 in Portsmouth and have spent my whole life caring for and working with babies and young children. My experience includes working as a Nanny, Night Nanny, Nursery Nurse, Childminder, Proxy Parent, Babysitter, Flexi Childcare worker and Sleep Consultant. Over the years I have gained extensive experience of caring for twins and triplets, premature babies, babies with reflux and working with families to teach their baby/s better sleep habits.

Along with having had two babies of my own, my wealth of professional experience has enabled me to hone my skills and approach to offer my services in a professional, caring, loving, gentle and effective way.

I typically work with a gentle approach to achieve a realistic and age appropriate routine in-line with my Client/s wishes. I am happy to work within any parental approach to raising and caring for babies as well as whichever feeding method is chosen.

I follow all published guidelines on SIDS, formula feeding and expressed breastmilk feeding. I regularly review my practice and current guidelines to ensure I am meeting current regulations.

I am Qualified to Foundation Degree Level, with all my qualifications and continuous professional development courses being specific to Childcare, Baby Care, Post Natal Caring and Baby/Child Sleep Consulting and Training.

I hold an up-to-date First Aid Certificate which is renewed at least every 3 years.

I’m friendly, approachable, non-judgemental and empathetic to each family’s situation, in both my role as Maternity Night Nanny and as a Sleep Consultant. I have a genuine love of babies which is demonstrated consistently through my work history and testimonials.
